He is a famous politician and civil servant of Andhra Pradesh because he is the Chief Minister of this state. Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy is the son of the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy. YS Jagan Mohan was born on 21 December 1972 in Pulivendula, the Kadapa District of Andhra Pradesh. YS before his name is the abbreviation of Yeduguri Sandinti. His family also belongs to the political world, and by following his family members, he also takes part in politics. His father was the two-time Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan completed his school education at the Hyderabad Public School, and after matric he completed his B.Com bachelor’s degree from Nizam College in Hyderabad.

He actively joined politics in 2009 after the death of his father. In the early part of his political career, he was a member of the Indian National Congress (INC). He made his decision to create his party due to differences with other party members.
He formed his party in 2011 with the name of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), which he named after his father in carrying the legacy of his father by his work and welfare of the people.
